With a feminist and anti-capitalist look, Meineche Hansen exposes society's absurdities. The exhibition in the Four Boxes Gallery focuses on questions of ownership and the conditions that dictate who has the right to own their own body, own art or own their own home.

The sculpture, home vs owner 2 (chimney pots), 2023, which takes the form of a body-sized chimney, from an English working-class home, of red brick in connection, sets the tone in the current exhibition. As part of the work series home vs owner, it highlights the owner's class in relation to the rest. The chimney is accompanied by another functional object, the silver-cast silver spoon, 2020 which refers to the old proverb: to be born with a silver spoon in the mouth.

The exhibition also presents CULTURAL CAPITAL COOPERATIVE OBJECT, 2017, which is a cooperatively created and owned video work that challenges the assumptions about individual ownership that prevail in both the art world and the wider political economy. In No Right Way 2 Cum, 2015, the female avatar: EVA v3.0, for which Meineche Hansen has bought the rights, performs explicit pleasure in its own right. The work is a direct comment on a censorship law in Great Britain, which allows the visualization of male ejaculation, but prohibits the visualization of female ejaculation in British produced pornography.
